About MCC FC
Welcome to the website of Molesey Community Church Football Club. The club was founded in 1991 and is for the benefit of the Molesey Community & friends.
Our club motto is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" from Luke 6:31. We have turned this into football speak "Play the way you want the opposition to" ie we want the oppo to play fairly and sportingly so we should do the same. We also want the oppo to try their best, there is no achievement in beating someone who is not trying. So we will play with this in mind and try to do our best too!
The club runs two adult sides that play in the Southern Area Christian Football League every Saturday afternoon. We also have a Veterans (Over 35s team) that plays in a small vets league and an M (Monthlies) team that plays once a month.
We also run free youth football on a Saturday morning for local kids aged 5-15 years old. This is held at our home pitch at Molesey Hurst Recreation Ground, Molesham Way, West Molesey 9-10.30am.

Tsunami Appeal Charity Football Match
2pm Sunday 13th February, 2005 at Molesey FC
A Molesey Community Team played the Chelsea Old Boys, to help raise more much needed funds for the people suffering from the Tsunami. A very big thank you to the 600+ people who came to watch.
The Chelsea Old Boys squad included Clive Walker, Graham Wilkins, Steve Finnieston, Jason Cundy, Gareth Hall, Steve Frise, Trevor Aylott, David Stride, Stewart Robbins, Kevin Sweeney, Paul 'Bubble Ferguson from Big Brother, Michael Grecco (Beppe de Marco - Eastenders) and former England superstar Ray Wilkins. Check out www.chelseaoldboys.co.uk
It was a real privilege for the Molesey guys to play against the Chelsea Old Boys and everyone agreed that they were a fantastic group. They signed autographs and posed for pictures whenever asked, nothing was too much trouble, a great example to some of the players in the modern game today!
A massive thank you also to Molesey Football Club for their help in staging the game, this joint promotion between the Community Church and the Football club made the game possible, maybe an annual event from now on?
The Community Team players collected over £2,000 in sponsorship between them, a fantastic effort and especially Dave Holmes who raised £600 himself.
In the game David Ingold put the Community Team 1-0 up after 8 minutes & then it was all Chelsea! Final score 1-5. Glenn Beckett teacher at Hurst Park School & Ray Wilkins were the the Man of the Matches.
A total of £3000 was raised so thanks to everyone involved.
The game was featured in the Champions League Match Programme Chelsea vs Barcelona!! Ronaldhino & Molesey Community Church FC in the same programme!!
