The National Christian Golf Cup is a pairs competition comprising a church member and a non-church member in each pair. The Baptists have tended to dominate the competition in recent times. West Cliff Baptist Church from Bournemouth won in 2003 and 2001 and Westward Ho! Baptist from Devon in 2002. Before that Arkley Church of England Church in Herts won in 2000 and City Church Worcester were the very first winners in 1999. Pendennis Church in the West Country were the 2004 Champions
Mark Davies and Mickey Simmonds won the 2006 cup for Molesey Community Church.
